Brittany and Arsalan’s wedding day was SO gorgeous!! Brittany planned her wedding day around the idea of making their wedding reception feel like the Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz, which turned out amazing!! From emerald green bridesmaids dresses, emerald accessories, and lots of greenery in the flowers; it made for such a unique and beautiful day!
Their big day began at the beautiful W Hotel in Midtown, with views overlooking the city! The images I got of brittany while she was getting ready are some of my new favorites!! Once everyone was ready, we headed down the block to Piedmont Park to get ready for the first look and ceremony! When Arsalan turned around to see Brittany his face was priceless! She looked stunning, and you could see he felt the same way!
After portrait time, we all moved inside for the Jewish Ketubah signing ceremony. Brittany and Arsalan signed their Ketubah ( made by her sister ) while surrounded by their closest friends and family. Once the Ketubah was signed, it was time for their ceremony! Brittany and Arsalan said ” I do ” in front of their friends and family at sunset over looking Lake Clara Meer!
Finally, it was time for the reception – or should I say, to go to The Emerald City! They held their reception at Rays on the River, and it was the perfect location! When you walked into the reception tent there were green vases with greenery everywhere, green uplighting, green rock candy for favors, and so much more! The room felt SO elegant and was the perfect ending to their beautiful day!
Brittany wore her Emerald engagement ring, and she wore Arsalan’s Grandmother’s emerald ring as well!
