Google Drive is one of my favorite business platforms by far, and it stores the majority of my content for my business. From launch plans, pre-written blogs, my brand elements, workbooks, and downloads, everything in my business that is remotely related to content or planning goes into Google Drive.

I’m going to break down why I love Google Drive so much and why I use it every day.

1.  I can quickly locate content from anywhere, at any time!

When I first started my business, I would type my content out and places like Pages, Microsoft Word, or even on notes on my computer. The problem with that was that I could never find old content, nor could I access it anywhere. I started using Google Drive because I realized I could access my Google Docs from anywhere. Whether we were traveling and I had to access it from my husband’s computer or on the road, and I need to access something from my phone – either way, I could get access to my documents and my content without having to jump through hoops.

I cannot only access the document from anywhere, but I can also edit it from anywhere – like a simple app on my phone. This makes things really easy whenever I am working with my team and need to look over things or update something on the go.

2. I can easily share contact with anyone.

Whether I am working with a one-on-one coaching client or I am working with someone on my team, I can easily share a folder or document with them filled with the information they are needing.

For example, all of my one-on-one coaching clients have a Google folder inside my drive. As we go through our coaching program, I will add content and materials to that folder as needed. My coaching clients have access to that folder and can find their documents or reference materials inside of that folder!

This keeps us from going back and forth with emails and keeps my client from searching through emails 6 months down the road when they’re trying to find a document to reference again.

3. I can organize in folders.

My Google Drive has plenty of folders that range from monthly content creation, clients, upcoming projects, course folders, education that I am learning from and so much more. Being able to store all of my content and information in one spot that is well organized and easy to sort through is a huge win!

4. I can voice type

Let’s be real and honest here. I typed this blog post out in Google Docs in under 10 minutes. How? Because I voice typed it. This is the one thing that Google Docs has that sold me so fast. Being able to speak, and have Google type my words out for me is a huge productivity win because I can speak way faster than I can type. I would say, easily 80% of my content is voice type through Google Docs.

These are just a few of the reasons why I love Google Drive. It is the one platform that I work inside of multiple times a day, every day. It is one of the easiest platforms to maneuver and work with between me and my team and my clients, and it is the one platform and my business that I can guarantee I will never walk away from. If you haven’t jumped into Google Drive yet for your business, then this is me telling you that it is time to give it a shot and see how it’s going to change the game when it comes to your content creation and organization for your business.
