Brooke and Brent’s wedding day at Red Gate Farms in Savannah, GA was one that I had been looking forward to for a year, and I am so sad that it is actually over! Their day was filled with so much love and happiness and it is just one of those days that truly remind me why I love my job!

Not only was their wedding day beautiful, but Brooke and Brent remained so calm when their plans quickly got ruined by a huge storm that brought a small twister and ruined their reception tent! – To say we were all shocked would be an understatement! They had an amazing group of vendors though who all jumped in to help pull everything back together with just an hour until the ceremony! Every vendor on property jumped in to help whether it was sweeping the water out of the flooded barn, collecting chairs and moving them, salvaging florals, or just picking up the pieces of debris and glass that had been thrown. Once things were looking better I headed up to check on Brooke and ask her what she wanted to do about her ceremony since it was still raining and she immediately said that everything was still happening as planned! That this day was about her and the man she was marrying and she would go collect all of the umbrellas and stand out in the rain and get married! – Have I mentioned how much I just love these two?! It was basically the perfect response and I was so excited for their ceremony- even if it meant getting soaked!

Once the storm blew threw and we got past the ceremony, we were given the perfect warm summer sunset to finish off their day! We were able to capture some of my all time favorite images and I just love how happy these two look in all of them! You can tell that the little details truly didn’t matter to them because they were married and that’s what we were all there for!
