Last week my husband and I flew down to Cancun for 4 days to capture a gorgeous destination wedding that I had been counting down to for months! I had been looking forward to this week since Kelsey and Shane booked me last December and I honestly can not believe that it is already over!! Their wedding weekend was one that I will never forget and I can not thank their families enough for including us in the celebration!!
Before Kelsey and Shane said “ I do” on Saturday at Dreams Playa Mujeres, they had a fiesta on Thursday evening to welcome their family and friends who traveled in to celebrate with them! All I can say is, I wish every wedding weekend started with one of these! It was a great way for me to not only get to know the friends and family prior to the wedding, but it was just such a fun way to kick off the weekend!
They had lights strung across the back patio, gorgeous views of the beach over the infinity pool, and stunning florals around the patio that created the perfect place to welcome their guest! Their fiesta included a full taco bar, a margarita station, a mariachi band, and even a cigar roller!! Their fiesta was the perfect way to kick off their wedding weekend and I can’t wait for their wedding day to hit the blog tomorrow night! – It’s going to be one gorgeous blog post!!
