Caitlin and Sebastian’s destination wedding at Red Gate Farms in Savannah this weekend has definitely become one of my favorites! From the gorgeous moss filled oak trees, elegant bridesmaid dresses, and monogrammed groomsmen bowties; their wedding day was filled with so much southern charm! Plus, Caitlin’s color pallet filled with metallic golds, navy blues, and shades of green was an absolute perfect choice for their day! These colors worked together SO well that the bridesmaid and groomsmen photos have become new favorites of mine as well!
When it came time for the ceremony to begin Sebastian waited at the end of the aisle anxiously awaiting to see his bride! As she left the barn and began walking towards him, his smile grew bigger and bigger with ever step she took! You could clearly see that he thought she was the most beautiful bride; and y’all, she was stunning! As I stepped back I began to look around and saw that there were tears coming from every side of me! Everyone was just SO happy for these two! They shared their vows under a large oak tree overlooking the pond, and before they knew it they were officially husband and wife!
Once the ceremony was over, we got a few minutes to seek off with these two for portraits and they are such naturals! They have such a fun personality and I loved how they interacted with one another during their photos! It made my job so easy, and truly allowed me to capture exactly who they are as a couple! Plus, you could just see how excited they were to finally be married!!
It was finally time to begin the reception and it was just as amazing as the rest of their day was! From their buffet filled with southern favorites, a live band for the dances, amazing toasts given by the bridal party that had the whole room laughing and cheering, one amazing DJ that had everyone on the dance floor ( and that is a rare occasion! ), and finally ending the evening with a late night snack that consisted of chicken and waffles!
Just looking back on their day today while editing makes me wish I could go back and shoot it all over again! Caitlin and Sebastian, your wedding day was absolutely amazing and I hope you two have an amazing time while in Aruba! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your big day!
