Ally and Aaron’s destination wedding at Big Canoe was such a beautiful and intimate wedding day with their closest family and friends! Ally and Aaron currently live in Florida, but knew that traveling to the mountains for a destination wedding would be the perfect way to celebrate this new chapter in their life! Their day started off with the most gorgeous weather you could possibly ask for on a wedding day! It was sunny, cool, and not a cloud in the sky – even though it only stayed this way for a few hours, we enjoyed every second of it! Ally and Aaron got ready in cabins that were just a minute apart from each other, and each cabin was filled with family and friends there to celebrate! You could just see and feel how happy everyone was for these two! As the afternoon began we knew that rain was quickly approaching so we began to fly through photos to make sure we captured every image before the ceremony began, and thankfully these two were SO amazing and flexible with their schedule that we were able to accomplish everything with plenty of time to spare! As we waited for the ceremony the wind began to pick up and the clouds rolled in just minutes before it began ( we were pretty sure we would be shooting in the rain by this point! ), but as their ceremony began the sun peeked through the clouds just long enough for these two to say “ I Do” overlooking the gorgeous lake below! To say that we got lucky is seriously an understatement! Once the reception started the clouds opened up and it poured while everyone danced and celebrated inside!
Ally and Aaron are such a sweet couple and I am SO happy for them and their families! As I said before, they were so amazing and fully trusted me to make sure they got the images they need for their big day and I can not thank them enough for being so flexible! Their images are beautiful and I just love how every moment of their big day turned out!
Congratulations Ally and Aaron!
