Brooks and Michael’s wedding day was one that I have been anxiously waiting for since last May, and it was SO much better than I could of imaged! Brooks was such a stunning bride! From her fully beaded gown, her gorgeous white fur wrap, and her cathedral length veil; I fell in love with every portrait I took! – Which were a lot because we had over two and a half hours for portraits!! I have SO many amazing portraits of these two!
The morning started a bit slow at the Thompson House as the rain poured outside, but everyone getting ready had high hopes that we would be able to get a quick break in the rain for portraits. We even had a huge row of umbrellas just waiting for the rain to let up for just long enough for everyone to run outside for pictures! We were all checking our phones praying for a break in the weather each time, and sure enough the rain completely stopped in time for their first look! Plus, it didn’t rain again for the rest of the day!! How luck did we get!!
Later that evening these to were married in front of their friends and family at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Athens! They were surrounded by 200 of their closest friends and family, and you could feel just how loved these two truly are! Once the ceremony ended we all headed back to the Thompson House to spend the rest of the evening celebrating these two and their marriage!
I am honestly so sad that their big day is over, because I absolutely loved working with these two and their families! They were all so inviting and made me feel like I was a part of their family the whole day!
Congratulations Brooks and Michael!
