Christina and Stephen’s wedding day was one that I have been anticipating for SO long and I am so sad that it is actually over! When I met with Christina about their wedding day last summer I knew from the moment we began chatting that their wedding would be amazing! Waiting a year and half to photograph their wedding day was tough! It felt like the wait would never come to an end, and now I wish I could go back just so I could shoot their wedding over again!

Christina and Stephen had their ceremony at the gorgeous Rialto Theater in downtown Tampa on Saturday afternoon and were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they said “ I do”! The Rialto Theater was the perfect backdrop for their simple yet gorgeous wedding! Their day was filled with soft neutral shades that mixed perfectly with hints of gold and marble; so the white washed brick at the theater was a stunning way to tie it all together for the ceremony! Not only did I love the gorgeous brick inside the theater, but the outside was just as perfect! The entrance to the theater has a stunning bright blue door that made for the perfect photo backdrop, and on each side of the the doors were white walls – which are always a favorite of mine to shoot at!

Once the ceremony was over we headed over to The University of Tampa hoping to grab a few more images before the rain hit, but sadly as soon as we arrived the rain began and we found ourselves racing back to the cars! So we headed back across the street to Oxford to wait out the rain and do more photos there! Oxford Exchange is one of the most popular places in Tampa to eat, get coffee, and just hang out on the weekends! The architecture inside of the building is stunning, and it has to be one of the most beautiful places for a wedding in Tampa!

As the guest began to arrive, the reception area began to light up and turn into one of the most gorgeous receptions I have seen! From the candlelight in the cocktail area and the hanging lights in the reception room, the reception felt so intimate and classy! – Let’s not forget all of the greenery that covered the white brick walls, tall golden candle stands, succulents that filled the tables, and marble place cards for guest; it was all a dream! As the evening went on guest were served amazing food, enjoyed the bar of Italian cookies, drank coffee from the Buddy Brew coffee bar, and danced the night away!

Christina and Stephen, I can not thank you two enough for allowing me to not only be a part of your day but for making me feel like I was family the entire time!  You are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met and you made every aspect of my job so easy and enjoyable throughout the entire process! I am so happy for you two!
