Logan and Cody’s St Petersburg sailing engagement session is definitely one of my favorites I have ever done!! Logan and I went through a good handful of ideas before she emailed me telling me she was looking into getting a sailboat to sail them out at sunset! – I was beyond excited when I read her email too!! This was definitely one of those bucket list shoots I wanted to do for so long!!
When Saturday arrived I met these two down at the marina and we were off to find our boat! Not going to lie, it was one extremely hot evening ( heat index was over 100! ) ; but these two still made it all look so effortless! I was a little nervous before heading out onto the boat because I knew I wouldn’t have nearly as much control over the sun light as I normally do, and that posing in a tight space would be a little more difficult than normal – but these images turned out SO beautiful! I am beyond in love with every one of them!!
These two were so much fun to not only photograph but to spend the evening chatting with! I loved getting to know them more while sailing around and watching the dolphins in between shooting!! I am so excited to get to capture their wedding day next year down at the Jupiter Light House!!
